We ask you to think about the future and The Boys & Girls Clubs of America's collective commitment to a bold vision for our second century. We ask you to think about young people who will one day soon determine the fate of America.

We are reminded that in America today, in the richest nation on earth, there are communities were nearly 50, 60, 70 percent of students never graduate from high school: that every 29 seconds a students drops out of school, when most of them simply needed someone to care, someone to convince them otherwise. We are reminded that some children can not sit at a computer or play ball: where children are not encouraged to develop their talents and skills: where there is no guidance or encouragement to believe in themselves: where parents work three jobs just to keep feed their family.

We at the Boys & Girls Club of Eden are prepared to meet these challenges. Imagine a future lead by a generation of successful Club members: of productive and responsible citizens: of civic-minded, confident people who care. Through our programs we are confident we can meet these challenges and we need your help.
